11 women among 12 killed in road mishap

Rewari, Feb 1 (UNI) Eleven women were among twelve people killed when a tempo collided with a canter near Nangal Mundi village in this district of Haryana today.

The women, belonging to Bhiwani district, were coming in a tempo to mourn the death of relative in Rewari district when the vehicle collided head on with a canter, Superintendent of Police (SP) R S bishnoi told UNI.

The deceased women were identified as Umed Rani, Omvati, Anokha, Kusum, Barfi, Ashrafi, Rajwanti, Reshma, Omvati, Prem Rani and Ramvati. They all belonged to Maanheru village of Bhiwani district.

The driver of the canter, Bahadur, also died in the accident.
