World-class rly station in MP

Bhopal, Jan 31 (UNI) The Railways have announced that 19 stations will be accorded world-class status and one local station -- either Bhopal Main or Habibganj -- will figure on that list.

''Information has to be sought from various key departments as to which direction the city's development is taking,'' West-Central Railway Manager (Bhopal Division) Ashok Kumar Agrawal said today at a seminar.

Among those present were District Collector S K Mishra and Superintendent of Police Anant Kumar Singh. The administration suggested that Habibganj be chosen keeping in view the city's geography and the easy availability of land.
