WHF condems protest of 2 UK MPs supporting Afzal Guru

New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) Condemning the ''deplorable action'' of two British parliamentarians to protest at the Indian High Commission in London against the hanging of Parliament attack case convict Mohammad Afzal Guru, the World Hindu Federation today said it was interference in the internal matters of the country.

Describing the act as a direct attack on the sovereignty and dignity of India besides a show of ''support for terrorists'', the WHF said it also exhibited support to the foes of Indian Parliament and people.

While submitting a memorandum to the British High Commissioner here today, the WHF also demanded an apology from the two British parliamentarians and condemning of the act by the UK government saying defending the attack on parliament was an insult to the millions of sufferers of terrorism in India, Britain and the world over.
