Two revenue officials charge-sheeted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 31 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Vigilance Organisation today filed a charge-sheet against two revenue officials in a corruption case.
The Vigilance Organisation produced the charge-sheet against two patwaris, Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat and Mohammad Yaseen Kalla, in the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Kashmir.
The accused were caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from Irshad Ahmad, a resident of Khanyar here, on March 17 last year, a vigilance spokesman said.
The accused had demanded and accepted the bribe for demarcation and mutation of his land.
