Tata Steel says has financing ready for Corus deal
LONDON, Jan 31 (Reuters) India's Tata Steel said today it had financing in place for its proposed takeover of Corus Group after beating Brazil's CSN in an auction for the Anglo-Dutch steelmaker.
Tata Steel also said in a statement it was set to formally ask the board of Corus to recommend its revised acquisition worth 608 pence per share or 5.75 billion pounds (11.3 billion dollars).
