Swami asks Hindus to unite against UPA
Lucknow, Jan 31 (UNI) Janata Party president and former union minister Dr Subramanian Swami today said his party would jointly contest the coming assembly election with BJP.
Talking to reporters here, Dr Swami said ''Talks are going on smoothly.''He alleged while all political parties used Brahmins as their vote bank, little was done to uplift the poor among the community. ''Now they have to face reservation...the community is being ignored when it requires the goverment help the most.''he added.
He asked Hindus to unite against the ''misrule'' of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre.
He also termed Governor T V Rajeswar as a Congress agent.
''Instead of representing the President, he is representing Congress and setting unhealthy precedent,'' he added.
