S R Sukumara joins Sify Board of Directors

Chennai, Jan 31: Sify Limited today announced appointment of S R Sukumara as one of its directors on the Board.

Mr Sukumara was in Indian Police Service (IPS) for over 36 years till his retirement, a company release said here today.

He had also played an advisory role to the government during his career.

Sify Limited Managing Director Raju Vegesna said the appointment of Sukumara would help the company in developing strong government relations at a time when many business opportunities were emerging in the area of e-Governance.
