Rajnath condoles death of former Nagaland CM

New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today condoled the death of former Nagaland Chief Minister Hokishe Sema.

The BJP has suffered an irreparable loss in the death of Sema who was a great friend and ally of the party, Mr Singh said.

Sema, who died this morning, was Chairman of the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) Government and a former MP. He was also the first Naga to become the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

Besides being a Cabinet Minister in the first Nagaland Legislative Assembly, he had been the Chief Minister of the state thrice.
