Rains likely in J

Pune, Jan 31 (UNI) Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow have occured at isolated places in Uttaranchal.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana and west Madhya Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Vidarbha and Chattisgarh.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of north Andhra Pradesh and were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, interior Orissa, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, north Chattisgarh, coastal Karnataka and were above normal in Vidarbha. Thay were normal over the rest of the country.
