Railways increases advance reservation period
Chennai, Jan 31 (UNI) The Railways today announced the increase of Advance Reservation period from the present 60 days to 90 days for three months on an experimental basis.
The Advance Reservation period of 90 days would be applicable with effect from tomorrow, a Railway release here said.
There would be no change in the case of time limit of 360 days of Advance Reservation period for Foreign tourists.
The Railways, announced a Special train to Nagercoil to accommodate extra rush of passengers. The special (Train No 0613) would leave Chennai at 2015 hrs on February three and arrive in Nagercoil at 1045 hrs, the next day. Advance reservation for the special train would commence tomorrow, the release added.
