Police swing into action to arrest JD(U) MLA

Aurangabad, Jan 31 (UNI) Deputy Inspector General of Police of Magadh range Umesh Kumar Singh today issued order to arrest JD(U) MLA Ranvijay Kumar in connection with a murder case.

Police said Mr Singh ordered to arrest Mr Kumar for his involement in murder of a person during Bihar Assembly election on February 3, 2005 in Goh constituency of Aurangabad district.

Mr Singh, an MLA from Goh constituency was evading arrest since long even after issuance of warrant from the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Aurangabad.
