NCDEX records trade worth Rs 2,550 cr

Mumbai, Jan 31 (UNI) As many as 2,736 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 2,550 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 96,150 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, gold, and refined soya oil, a NCDEX release here said.

Yesterday, about 570 members had participated in trading and put through more than 1,07,340 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 3,314 crore (one way).

Active trades were in chana, pepper, guarseed, gold, silver and refined soya oil, the release added.
