Municipality employees condemn councillors' demand

Puducherry, Jan 31 (UNI) The employees of the Puducherry Municipality today struck work and held a demonstration in front of the municipal building.

The agitation was to condemn the councillors' demand, who sought removal of Municipal Commissioner for granting permission to shoot a film in the municipal building.

The councillors had gheraoed the Municipal Chairperson Sreedevi yesterday, demanding removal of the Municipal Commissioner.
