Miscreants attack 8 members of a family

Mangaldoi, Jan 31 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants have attacked five members of a family and set ablaze their eight houses in Hukunajuli village near Mazbat in Darrang district.

According to sources, about 30 masked people with sharp weapons attacked the family members of one Rajat Singh yesterday.

Three of the injured were rushed to the Guwahati Medical College (GMC) and are in critical condition.

Police suspected a personal rivalry behind the incident and have launched an operation to apprehend the culprits.
