Law bans spread of non-Hindu faiths at Tirumala
Tirupati, Jan 31 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Endowment and Panchayat Raj Minister J C Dewakar Reddy today said the propagation of non-Hindu religions would not be allowed at Tirumala.
Talking to newspersons here he said the offenders would be punished with a jail term and fined.
The bill, already passed by the government, curbs propagation of other religions here and allows only Hindu dharmic activities.
The bill was awaiting Governor's assent, he added.
