Kerala Ayurveda records revenues at Rs 648 lakh in Q3

Kochi, Jan 31 (UNI) Aluva-based Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy Limited, a leading listed Ayurveda company, recorded a 116 per cent growth in revenues at Rs 648 lakh compared to the correspoding period in 2005.

According to an official release here today, the cumulative revenues stood at Rs 1,676 lakh for nine months ending December 2006 which was 97 per cent higher than same period in last fiscal.

For the period, the net profit after tax was Rs 25.99 lakh compared to loss of Rs 14.61 lakh during the same period in 2005.

The third quarter results reflected a loss of Rs 25.44 lakh as a result of new investments made in the new identity and extensive rebrand exercise, including new packaging and new expansion in the US, the release added.
