Justice Mansoor Sworn in as Additional Judge of High Court

Jammu, Jan 31 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir High Court Chief Justice Bashir Ahmed Khan today administered oath of office to Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir as Additional Judge at a simple function at High Court complex here.

Earlier, the warrant of appointment and notification received from Rashtrapati Bhawan and Union Law Ministry were read by Registrar General of the High Court Hasnain Masoodi. He also read the letter of authorization of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir LT.

Gen. (Retd) S K Sinha authorizing the Chief Justice to administer oath of office to the Judge.

Justice N A Kakru, Justice Y P Nargotra, Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani, Justice J P Singh and Advocate General A H Naik were also present on the occasion.

Besides, function was attended by Judicial Officers of Jammu district, Bar members, Advocates and staff members.
