Curfew in MP town
Rajgarh, MP, Jan 31 (UNI) Indefinite curfew was clamped in this ''sensitive'' district's Bioara town today following a dispute between two communities over putting up of objectionable posters.
''The curfew was imposed at 1530 hrs,'' said District Collector G P Tiwari. Reports said that arson and other forms of violence also took place.
Police lobbed teargas shells and used force to disperse miscreants. Further details are awaited.
This is the third instance of recent communal tension in Madhya Pradesh where peace was disturbed at Jabalpur and Indore.
