Boeing leads Dow higher, eyes on Fed

NEW YORK, Jan 31 (Reuters) US blue-chip stocks rose on Wednesday after Boeing Co posted a stronger-than-expected quarterly profit and boosted its outlook, but jitters over the Federal Reserve's impending statement on rate policy prevented a broader advance.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 10.41 points, or 0.08 percent, at 12,533.72. The Standard&Poor's 500 Index was down 1.99 points, or 0.14 percent, at 1,426.83. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 7.45 points, or 0.30 percent, at 2,441.19.
