BJP demands 'Telangana Bill' in budget session
Visakhapatnam, Jan 31 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit president Bandaru Dattatreya today demanded the UPA Government to decide on the Telangana statehood before the budjet session of the parliament.
Addressing a newsconference here, he said the people of the region had very strong aspirations for a separate state and added that the bifurcation was a necessity.
Maintaining that it was ''politically incorrect'' on the part of the Congress to adopt dilatory tactics on the issue he asked the party to introduce a Bill in the budget session in this regard.
