Another schoolboy kidnapped in MP

Narsinghpur, MP, Jan 31 (UNI) Just a day after a schoolboy was kidnapped in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district, a 10-year-old school-goer has been kidnapped for ransom in this district headquarters.

The police said today that town-based businessman Sanjay Neta's son Shani was taken yesterday. The victim had gone to attend a function at Gurukul School but did not return until evening and a search was initiated.

Some persons from the cantonment town Jabalpur told Mr Neta over telephone at night that the boy was in their clutches and warned that the police should not be alerted. The family is not divulging anything about a ransom demand but the police suspect that a demand must have been made.

Superintendent of Police B K Shrivastav confirmed the kidnapping.

On January 29, 11-year-old Kshitij Mishra was kidnapped while returning from school and a ransom of Rs 10 lakh demanded.
