A trader hacked to death in Samastipur

Samastipur, Jan 31(UNI) A trader was hacked to death today by a group of armed criminals at village Rupauli under Musrigharari police station area in the district.

Police here said the criminals threw the body of one Chote Lal Kapar. However, the reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.

Later the irate villagers blocked NH 28 in protest against the killing. The blockade, however, was lifted following the intervention of the local administration.

Raids were on to nab the criminals.
