A prisoner escaped from police custody

Chapra, Jan 31 (UNI) A convict escaped from police custody when he was being taken for production in Chapra civil court in connection with a criminal case.

Official sources said here today that the prisoner dodged police escorting him to the court from Mandal jail and escaped.

The convict was being taken to the court in a case related to Arms Act.
