5 youths held for harassing a 22-year old girl in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 31 (UNI) Five youths have been arrested including a owner of a private firm, for allegedly harassing and forcing a 22-year-old girl working in the company to establish illicit relation with the owner.
The accused have been identified as - Anil Nirmalchand Oswal (35), the owner of a private firm and his employees - Shantanu Sharad Deshpande (26) Kishor Mauji Patel (24), Anant Raghunath Kedare (24) and Dinesh Jugalkishor Tiwari (26).
Oswal also allegeadly had sent a legal notice asking the girl to pay Rs 65,000, which she had obtained as loan from him.
The five including the owner also threatened her of spoiling her marriage plans by showing her doctored photographs to her would be in-laws, police said.
The police booked the youths under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) following a complaint lodged by the girl with the police last evening, police added.
The police said that the girl was working with the private firm owned by Oswal as a telephone operator. She approached the police yesterday, when she was fed-up by continous harrassment and alleged attempt of blackmailing by the accused, police said.
