15 women farm workers injured as tractor overturns in AP

Machilipatnam, Jan 31 (UNI) At least 15 women farm labourers were injured when a speeding tractor suddenly overturned at Guduru near here on the Machilipatnam-Pune national highway today.

Police said the 40 women farm workers from here were travelling on the tractor when the mishap occurred. Travellers on the road rescued them.

A Revenue Divisional Officer, who was proceeding to Vijayawada stopped at the spot, called the ambulance and shifted the injured to the Government hospital here.

UNI
