Two more fleeing juvenile offenders trapped
Bangalore, Jan 30 (UNI) Two more juvenile offenders of the 46, who had escaped from a city remand home on Sunday last, were nabbed by the city police here today.
With this, the number of arrested fleeing offenders have gone up to nine. The police had arrested two juvenile offenders on Sunday itself and five more boys had been taken into custody yesterday.
The State police had formed a team to nab the absconders. Police teams have also been fanned out to neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
It may be recalled here that 46 juvenile offenders, after having their lunch, jumped out of the toilet of the remand home, climbed a tree close to the outer wall and escaped. Karnataka Women and Children Welfare Minister H K Kumaraswamy, who had visited the remand home yesterday, had recommended the suspension of two staff.
