Trianz raises USD 15 mn from NYLIM India Fund

Mumbai, Jan 30 (UNI) SBI Capital Markets (SBICAP), the investment banking subsidiary of State Bank of India, has facilitated private equity of USD 15 million (approximately Rs 70 crore) for Trianz, a global operations consulting and technology services firm.

The equity investment was made by New York Life Investment Management India Fund (FVCI II), LLC (NYLIM India Fund), a Mauritius based foreign venture capital investor. Trianz will use the funds towards expansion of its business lines as well as grow its international presence.

In a statement issued here today, SBICAP President and COO A P Verma said, '' We have been witnessing the steady growth of Trianz and are confident that with a strong leadership team, unique approach and exemplary client relationships, Trianz will be one of the leading blue chip firms of the future.
