Seer speaks against terrorism

Jabalpur, Jan 30 (UNI) Haridwar-based Mata Mandir Founder Satyamitranand Giri Maharaj today said that India would not be freed from the scourge of terrorism until Hindus became powerful.

''Political leaders will have to stop turning a Nelson's eye on national interest for the sake of vote banks. About 1,000 Hindu gatherings across India revealed that the community wants Kashmir to remain an integral part of India,'' he said in this cantonment town while addressing a mammoth religious gathering.

Among those present were Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, Urban Administration and Development Minister Jayant Malaiya, Minister of State for Fisheries Moti Kashyap, Bharatiya Janshakti General Secretary Prahlad Patel, MP Rakesh Singh, Swami Akhileshwarnand Giri, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sanghchalak Kailash Gupta, Mahanagar Sanghchalak Jitendra Jamdar and several monks.
