Publisher, wife murdered in Agra

Lucknow, Jan 30 (UNI) A noted publisher, his wife and servant were killed by unidentified miscreants over an old family dispute in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said the incident occurred late last night under New Agra area where Taj publication owner Kali Charan Sharma, wife Usha and servant Gulab Singh were strangled to death.

Ligature marks found on their neck revealed they were garrotted, police said.

Their bodies were recovered from the press compound today.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits, police added.
