Pondy Municipal Chairperson gheroed

Puducherry, Jan 30 (UNI) Puducherry Municipal Chairperson Sreedevi was gheroed by the councillors here this evening for permitting shooting of a film at the municipal building.

The councillors demanded that the Puducherry Municipal Commissioner should be removed for allowing the shooting of the film at the building.

The authorities had sanctioned permission for shooting the film "Shivaji" for two days and it was reported that the municipal building was damaged during the shooting.
