Polling booths at Raj Bhavan shifted outside
Mumbai, Jan 30 (UNI) In a bid to enable voters to exercise their franchise without any hassles at the Raj Bhavan ward number 214, three polling booths have been placed today at an open place just outside the Governor's official residence in south Mumbai.
BMC's official spokesperson Dadasaheb Shivjatak said that booth number 8, 9 and 10, which were installed inside the Rajbhavan compound earlier, have now been shifted outside, opposite A-One appartment, to enable voters to exercise their franchise smoothly.
Polling would be held on February one for the multi-cornered Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, for 227 seats in the metropolis, wherein more than 83 lakh voters are slated to cast their votes.
