People flock to see 'Ali'

Jaunpur, Jan 30 (UNI) For some it was a miracle, while some related it to be the blessings of God.

For people of Sipah locality here, it came as bolt from the blue, when 'Ali' -- name of the first Imam of the Shias Hazrat Ali -- was found written on a 9-year-old boy's forehead.

Talking to UNI over telephone, Shia Maulana Tanvir Haidar said ''During the 'Kama' ritual on Moharram, my son Ali was wounded severely. Therefore, he was bandaged. When the bandage was removed, 'Ali' was found written on his forehead.'' ''Ali had been observing 'Kama' ritual since last four years and it is not any superstition. Our Imam Hazrat Ali has showered blessings on my son,'' added the over joyed father.

Soon the news spread like a wild fire and Sipah locality was seething with people.
