New colours of MODEUROP for fashion season

Chennai, Jan 30 (UNI) MODEUROP, an internationally recognised body that tracks fashion and trends in leather in the international market, is all set to bring out new fashion colours in leather industry across the globe.

Talking to UNI here today, MODUROP member Marga Indra Heide from Germany said "the organisation is now chalking out plans to introduce sound colour proposals three seasons in advance, during the India International Leather Fair, scheduled from January 31 to February three here." As per the plans, the members of MODUROP would decide on the new colours for the season, she said and added that the move would actively influence the fashion trends in leather across the globe.

Ms Marga said "our main work is to define, coordinate the prevailing colours in leather fashion and standardise the colour to simplfy the work of the leather and footwear industry." Apart from focusing on three kinds of colour forecasts for this season-'Vision', which comprise white and silver colours, 'Pionic', with green and brown shadows and 'Energy' comprising orange and pink, we were much interested in two-colour and multi-colour effects achieved by creaming, wiping, brushing or polishing, she said and added "in this way we will create a platform for our members from all over the world, so that they can actively take part in changing leather fashion".
