Muharram observed in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jan 30 (UNI) Muharram was observed with religious fervour amid tight security in Jharkhand today.

Security was tightened in the state capital and other sensitive places all over the state during the Muharram procession.

Significantly, at many places of the state Hindus were also seen taking active part in the functions on the occasion to show solidarity with their Muslim brethren.
