Morbi ceramic Industries can save Rs two crore per day through LNG

Morbi (Rajkot district), Jan 30 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said Morbi Ceramic Industries could save Rs two crore per day by switching over to new energy efficient technology by using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) through gas pipeline here and would change the scenario of the economy.

Speaking at a function here after inaugurating the Gujarat State Petronet Limited Gas Terminal, Modi said ''These Ceremic Industries, while using this cheaper gas could not only compete with China but it would also oust it from the market to create revolutions in the ceramic Industries''.

The Chief Minister claimed that supplying gas through pipeline to the industrial sector has proved to be a boon for the ceramic industries.

He stressed the need of cleanliness and called upon the local industrialists for their contribution in cleaning Morbi, as Gujarat Government is celebrating the year as ''Gujarat Nirmal Year'' He also urged the local industrialists to set up the state-of-the-art Research and Training Institute here and find out the scientific way of how to make quality-based productions cheapest.
