Land identified for Pharmacist College

Agartala, Jan 30 (UNI) Hectic parleys was on to set up a non-government pharmacist college in Tripura land for which had already been identified.

The proposed pharmacist college is expected to be set up within two years at Chandrapur area, near the south district headquarters of Udaipur by a non-government organisation and ten acre of land has already been identified.

A Tripura Chemist and Druggist Association (TCADA) spokeaman said that a proposal for allocation of Rs fifty lakh has been sent to All India Organisation of Chemist and Druggist for setting up of the proposed college and the remaining amount will be spent by the (TCADA).

Chairman of North Eastern Zone Chemist and Druggist Association, Ashok Kumar Singhal has already visisted the state and made an on the spot study.
