New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) IndianOil Corporation (IOC) will shut down its eight million tonnes (MT) capacity Mathura refinery for a month in mid-June for routine maintenance.

During this period, the supply will be compensated from its Panipat refinery which is operating with full capacity of 12,000 MT and Gujarat and Barauni refineries, IOC Chairman S Behuria said here yesterday.

The company will also partially shut down its Haldia (6 MT capacity) plant during August-September for 20-25 days for maintenance.

The company recently ramped up annual capacity of the Panipat refinery in northern state of Haryana to 240,000 barrels per day (BPD).

It will close both 60,000 billion barrels per day crude distillation units (CDUs) at Haldia to revamp its power plant at the refinery and add a gas turbine, the Chairman added.
