Girl gangraped; 5 accused arrested

Bulandshahr, Jan 30 (UNI) A nine-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by miscreants in Shanti Nagar locality here today.

Later, five accused, including a girl, were taken into custody.

According to police, the girl was missing since yesterday. This morning, she was rescued from a neighbouring house in critical condition by the locals. The victim was rushed to hospital.

Later, her family lodged an FIR against Sutlana and his daughter, Naresh, Brijbhan and Chandrabhan alleging gangrape.

Irked over the incident, a mob staged a 'dharna' and even stopped a goods train.

However, police rushed to the spot and pacified the mob.

Investigations were on.
