Jammu, Jan 30 (UNI) A 40-member delegation from Mirpur Chamber of Commerce, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), will visit Jammu and Kashmir on February 20 to promote trade on both sides of the border.

Mr Ram Sahay, President, Jammu and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry told UNI about the visit of the PoK delegation adding that the final date has not been decided so far.

''The final date of their visit (delegation) is to be decided within few days as we are in regular contact. They are scheduled to visit India on February 20 or 21,'' Mr Sahay said.

He further revealed that a trade delegation from Jammu and Kashmir will also visit PoK in April this year.

It may be mentioned that both the governments in recent past cleared about 780 items for trade and even identified six things which the traders can export and import without the permission of either of the governments.

Some of the items which J&K will import include panjeer, apricot, dry dates, rock salt, lal meva, anar dana and dry fruit while those exported will include carpets, kesar, all types of spices, garlic, black mashroom and a number of pharmaceutical items.
