City life crippled by dense fog

Kolkata, Jan 30 (UNI) The early morning fog clubbed with the tanker strike has sent the traffic out of gear today.

This is for the third day that the city was experiencing heavy fog.

The nip from the air disappeared as the minimum temperature rose to 19 degree Celsius today. The maximum temperature was 30.4 degree Celsius.

MET office has forecast mist and early morning fog for the next couple of days. The sky would remain partly cloudy throughtout the day, sources added.

Humidity was as high as 96 per cent in the morning.No rainfall was recorded, sources said.
