Azad heading a corrupt cabinet: Bhim Singh
Jammu, Jan 30 (UNI) Demanding a reshuffle in the Jammu and Kashmir ministry as well as the state administration, chairman of National Panthers Party (NPP) Bhim Singh today said Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is heading a ''corrupt'' cabinet.
Addressing a press conference here, Prof Singh claimed that most of the ministers, bureaucrats and police officials were corrupt.
''Mr Azad could not perform because he is heading a corrupt government comprising tainted or chargesheeted ministers, bureaucrats and police officials,'' he said.
The Chairman of NPP, which is a partner in the state's coalition government, said these corrupt officials were misguiding the people of the state. ''If Mr Azad really wants a 'khushhal' (prosperous) Kashmir, he has to weed out corruption,'' he added.
''The Ministry, as well as the administration, must be overhauled and honest and efficient people should get an opportunity to serve the people of state,'' he said.
