Ansal Housing net up 94.63% in Q3FY07

New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) Ansal Housing and Construction Ltd, a leading real estate developer, today clocked a 94.63 per cent hike in net profit to Rs 13.06 crore in the quarter ending December 31, 2006 against Rs 6.71 crore over the same period last fiscal.

''The Q3 results are equivalent to our expectations, and the company is optimistic about its future prospects and confident of achieving the planned performance for 2006-07,'' company's director Kushagar Ansal said in a statement.

Ansal Housing is on a major expansion spree with coming projects worth Rs 6,000 crore and looking forward to making its mark in tier II and III cities.

The company has so far developed 67.64 million square feet of area and more than 65.56 million square feet is under various phases of development.
