The cloudcover in Delhi led to a rise in minimum temperature from 12.3 degrees yesterday to 14.3 degrees, thus continuing the warmth in the air over the past three to four days.

The clouds, that had built up last evening, had resulted in light rains, bringing down the night temperature.

The weatherman said about 2 mm of rainfall was recorded till 0830hrs this morning.

After yesterday's dense fog, visibility levels were normal this morning.

Another spell of light rains is likely this evening or tomorrow morning with the weatherman forecasting a partly cloudy sky during the next 24 hours with possibility of thundery development or light rains.

After experiencing a cold wave for three consecutive weeks, the mercury has been witnessing an upward movement over the last week.

However, the weather office have forecast a fall in night temperature in Delhi towards the weekend.
