Agartala Book Fair enters into 25th year

Agartala, Jan 30 (UNI) The Agartala Book Fair, scheduled to start from February 28, will celebrate its silver jubilee this year .

A management committee had been formed under the chairmanship of state Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (ICAT) Minister Anil Sarkar in this regard.

Several publishers, sellers, writers and poets from all over the country are expected to participate in the fair.

Some historical event like '1857 Sepoy Mutiny' would be performed in the ten-day long fair. Besides, various cultural programmes would also be organised.
