79 people cross Loc at Chakkan-da-bagh

Jammu, Jan 30 (UNI) As many as 79 people from both the sides crossed the Line of Control (LoC) through Chakkan Da Bagh point on Poonch-Rawalkot road, official sources said today.

Twenty-three Indians, including a retired Army officer from Rajouri, crossed into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), while 15 PoK citizens came to this side to visit various places in Jammu and Kashmir, the sources added.

As many as 30 Indians, who had earlier gone to the other side of the border, returned to this side, and 11 people from the PoK went back.

The Indian side Designated Authority Poonch Matloob Khan facilitated the passengers at the meeting point, while from PoK side Designated Authority Hajira (Rawalakot) Nayeem Jafri was deployed for the purpose.
