Earthquake in Andaman and Nicobar islands

New Delhi, Jan 30: A moderate intensity earthquake shook the archipelago of Andaman and Nicobar in the early hours today.

According to an India Meteorological Department, the temblor, measuring 5.2 on the Richter Scale, was epicentred at 8.6 deg North latitude and 93.6 deg East longitude -- north of Camorta in the Nicobar Islands.
