14-year old boy from Godhra found murdered in Tapi riverside

Surat, Jan 30 (UNI) A 14-year old boy was found murdered on the banks of Tapi river on Ved Road area yesterday night, police sources said here today.

The deceased was identified as Rasikbhai Puniyabhai Parmar.

According to Chowk Bazar area police, the boy hailed from Godhra and came to Surat to work for a construction contractor.

Post mortem report from New Civil Hospital indicated that the boy was murdered due to asphyxiation.
