Singapore Air to cut jet fuel surcharge
SINGAPORE, Jan 29 (Reuters) Singapore Airlines said on Monday that it would reduce the fuel surcharge added to ticket prices following a recent decline in the price of jet fuel .
Singapore Air, the world's biggest airline by stock market value, will cut the charge to from for flights between Singapore and Southeast Asian countries, and to from for flights between Singapore and the United States and Canada.
On all other flights, the surcharge will be lowered to from . It said the change takes effect on or after Tuesday.
Singapore Air is controlled by the city-state's government investment holding Temasek [TEM.UL].
