Yoga guru Ramdev receives Doctor of Philosophy

Bhubaneswar,Jan 27 (UNI) Yoga Guru Ramdev was today conferred with the Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) by the KIIT University for bringing a new epoch for the Indian system of Yoga and Ayurveda.

KIIT Chancellor Dr Achyut Samant conferred the Doctorate of Philosophy to the Yoga Guru at a special convocation ceremony in presence of Nobel Laureate Professor Richard R Ernst who earned the Nobel prize in Chemistry in 1991 for his path breaking work on Fourier transform NMR.

Yoga Guru Ramdev announced that he would create doctors on ancient medicine and said one day India would receive the Nobel prize in ''breathe''(Prana) which would be treated as a new method of medical science to cure the dreaded diseases in the world.
