Rains likely in Assam, Haryana, TN, Kerala

Pune, Jan 27 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Orissa.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Uttaranchal, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Gujarat region and were above normal in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
